Artificial strenght and weakness

A piece i just finished for a group show coming up the first week of July at Galerie Rye in Montreal.

Since my piece named -The Ranger (circa 2002)- I rarely want to keep a piece for myself and i know i will regret to see it go to a new home if it sells. But hey, life of an artist, it will up for grab at the show and i will live with it and let it go if it hits someone!

I will post more new pieces as i go along with the preparation of this upcoming exhibit with details of the opening night.

This piece is about the commun facts of steroids used on men and rats...Tested on both subjects, the results are very similar and somewhat linked.

Phoenix

Here's a commissioned drawing i made for the Canadian band Oldbury. It will be used for their second album (coming soon). This is my second art collaboration with the band. You may visit http://www.oldbury.ca/

While you are there, navigate through, listen to some of their songs, and get to know them!

Uni-cite

I have been working on quite a few things lately.

Since the last Cella gallery group show, i was invited by artist Marie-Josee Roy to collaborate with her. My task was to engrave butterfly wings onto aluminum. She made the painting and left the wings outlined for me to fill in. It turned out quite nicely! It is part of her current solo exhibit at Le Cirque du Soleil headquarters in Montreal. The show runs until early June.
